I am a forty-something lifestyle blogger, mother of five, wife to one, master of none, lover of infinite amounts of wine & coffee, art and DIY. My children are aged 2, 5, 8, 9 and 14. I am a Pro at pretending to be a parenting Pro winging it every single day. In my writing I try to take an honest, no-holds-barred approach to parenting blogging fuelled by infinite amounts of gin and coffee. Forget the sugar coating. I’ll let you in on the magic of the life of a full-time mother raising 5 children. If you’re looking for an opinion, I probably have one 🙂
Recently having gone through a career transition from Customer Service Manager in a multinational company to family manager, I am looking for a new sense of presence, possibility and creativity. Venting, ranting and chanting is my therapy while trying to see the fun in it all.
I am the “Queen of my Castle” riding the waves of parenting. I write about stuff that stirs my motherly soul while trying to survive life that’s never boring (or relaxing for that matter) with 5 kids running circles around me.
Embrace yourself for tales of toddlers, tantrums & triumphs as well as parenting joys and parenting fails. Amidst all of that, I hope to give a bit of DIY inspo.
